For more than 43 years, our books have been published with the full 170 x 240 millimetres size derived directly from the worldwide standard A4 size format 210 x 297 mm, as shown on the sample pages above. Consequently, we provide 23 percent more legibility than competing products in the non-standard 145 x 228 mm format with microscopical typeface and a dreadful layout, let alone simple A5-size brochures at 148 x 209 mm where we give you 33 percent more contents per page.
Just for the record, all Klingenfuss products resulted from the fact that, for professional radio monitoring, nothing similar has been available before, and/or from our deep frustration with traditional products that are incredibly complicated to read and use, and/or extremely overpriced such as the products from the International Telecommunication Union in Geneva, Switzerland: the full comprehension of these bureaucrats is usually up to 15 (fifteen!) years behind the state of the art in this field.
By consequence, way back in 1967 we decided to write, edit and publish our own data and to do a better job, providing reliable reference manuals on pretty difficult and/or professional subjects as well, i.e. far beyond simple "frequency lists": our code manuals, frequency databases, modulation type CDs, telex message and digital data screenshot collections, and aeronautical and meteorological station indicator files are unique to this day, regularly confirmed by hundreds of excellent references from users all around the world!
